Well, I shot this New Year's Day along Boathouse Row in Philadelphia.
It was windy, cold, and numbing.....
And here these ducks were on the icey cold river, ducking (pardon the pun) under the water in short intervals like it was nothing.
This particular image I singled out from that series of shots is kind of hypnotic. (again, you're gonna have to see the larger version by clicking directly on the image)
I only did a very slight light enhancement since the image was somewhat underexposed. Other than that, the colors and the way the light reflects off of some of the feathers is all natural, even the hue of the water is all natural.
Blue has always been my favorite color, and I think because of that ...
