Haven't blogged in a minute. So thought I'd post sumthing new .
Be Sure to view the large version VIEW ON BLACK
This was shot inside the McNeil Avian Center at the Philadelphia Zoo.
This place is THEE place to be if you're a tropical bird :) Some of the world's treasured exotic birds take up residence here. And no doubt real estate in there..(trees, branches, etc..) is at a premium
I chuckled when I saw this image. Even the residents...birds in this case, display a certain DECORUM inside this multimillion dollar paradise

Sweet Tweet from a Diva
In this age of Social Networking and Web 2.0 , I still get out in the "real world" and photog.
I was asked to photog a baby shower recently.
As soon as I saw this message... A "Tweet" came to mind. If you don't Twitter, then this won't make any sense . Suggest you get on board :) Twitter
click VIEW ON BLACK now to see the large version of this pic
Look , her message is 69 characters long (a space between words counts as "1" character in the Tweet world.)
Sweet Tweet From a Diva..... now Tweeted ...

An Imitation of Life

A couple months ago, had a gig in the Rittenhouse Square section of downtown Philadelphia.
I've always associated that section as "artsy" in the center of a metropolis. This particular park is surrounded by swank , high class hotels and other high rise buildings
So as I was walking thru the park on the way back from the gig, I happened upon this scene.

I snapped a few images, and the artist came back from wherever he was and began painting again.
I introduced myself and told him all about THE URBAN PERSPECTIVE Blog, and I'd like to feature his work on there.
So now I present the work of Charles Cushing Fine Arts.
(you can clik directly on his images to see the larger versions)
To find out more about this world traveled artist, please visit his website : CHARLES CUSHING FINE ARTS from there, you can even purchase some of his fine art pieces

A "Damn" Great Spot
.... no , not for me, but if you view the ORIGINAL size of this in my Flickr account, you'll see the fisherman against the wall !! (you can click that Flickr by the way to see that particular size)
Can you imagine the overwhelming view that must be..... standing there with all the water from the falls...and the noise.
Even from my "spot".... it was a spectacular scene.
